This is the original 1964 Combo movie poster WITCHCRAFT/THE HORROR OF IT ALL. It was issued by 20th Century Fox in 1964 to support the release of these two movies in 1964. This poster is not a reprint nor a reproduction. WITCHCRAFT stars Lon Chaney, Jr., Jack Hedley, Jill Dixon, Viola Keats, Marie Ney, and David Weston. It was directed by Don Sharp.THE HOROR OF IT ALL stars Pat Boone, Erica Rogers, Dennis Price, Andree Melly, Valentine Dyall, and Archie Duncan. It was directed by Terence Fisher, who also directed a number of the Hammer Production Films. The unrestored poster measures 27″ x 41″ and is Folded. Most original movie posters dating pre-1985 are Folded. This is not considered a flaw or defect.Continuation of condition description: There is no loss of paper or color although a few of the pin holes are a tad enlarged which could be considered “squishing” or “hiding of” or I guess “loss from sight” of very, very little paper. The poster has a low gloss. Give all these – what we consider – minor but many flaws. at a normal viewing distance none of them are overly obtrusive. That is a at normal viewing distance your eye is not immediately drawn to any of the flaws described above. Thus, if you view the entire poster, as in Photo 1, it should seem relatively in excellent condition with none of these described flaws “jumping” out at you. The movie poster is graded C7.5, Very Fine Minus. Original movie posters are graded, from the best on down, as follows: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine or Excellent), C7 (Fine to Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc. It is extremely rare to find a C10 (Mint) original movie poster pre-1985. Possibly we could have gone with a C8 grading as the most egregious, but still minor, flaws are along the borders which proper framing can help to alleviate. But we hope that we have given you – the potential buyer – sufficient description of the poster in photos of some of the bigger flaws and written description of all of the flaws to make your own decision. THE HORROR OF IT ALL is an obvious comedy/comedy horror film, while WITCHCRAFT is a very good horror movie, somewhat in the genre of the Hammer Horror movies.
