I have color separated breeding pens and breed forSOP (Standard of Perfection).All are bearded except for the showgirls (which are only sometimes bearded).The eggs will be collected immediatelyafter receiving payment so that I can ship them out as soon as I can. My Millie breeding pen contains A millie fluer silkie roosters over Millie hens, millie split hens, buff and buff partridge hens. Frizzles and Showgirl/ Naked Necks. The Chicks could be the following feather types: Silkie, Frizzle Silkie, Satin, or Frizzle Satin. The photos in the listing are of my actual chickens for reference. Hopefully, your hatch will be very successful. Some chicks may have 4 ,5, or 6 toes. This occasionally happens to even the best breeders and is because of the polydactyl gene that Silkies carry. Most chicks will hatch with the correct 5 toes. Some chicks may hatch with lighter pink colored skin, which is very common with paints. Lighter skin chicks usually get darker as they age. I have NOT hatched a chick with the wrong comb type in over a few years but there’s always a chance of a straight comb instead of the correct walnut comb popping up as well.I never breed frizzle to frizzle which can result in a “frazzle” that has very weak and brittle feathers. All eggs are carefully checked for cracks and any other abnormalities before securely packing. All eggs are stored pointy end down and rotated daily. Eggs are not washed so some debris is normal. Eggs can vary is size slightly and can be a white to a cream color. Eggs are individually bubble wrapped and placed in a box pointy end down. I then use packing materials/shredded paper in the box around the eggs. I then securely tape that box and label the box with this end up stickers. I DO NOT take special requests to package in a different way. If you message me requesting for me to ship in a differentmethod or to ship to a differentaddress then what was provided at checkout, your order will be canceled. Purchasing hatching eggs are a risk but if you have any questions please feel free to message me. If you would like your eggs held at the post office for pickup put that in the notes when purchasing and be sure your phone number is included. I have noticed that there are a lot of people out there listing Silkie eggs and using words such as “show quality”, and they let all of their differentcolored Silkiesfree-range (and I have seen free-love) all together. Sure, that would beway easier for me to do also but then all I would be getting are mixed-color chicks that have zero potential of being show quality. If they don’t list that they have color separatedbreeding pens, you can assume that they don’t. If you see their different colored adult Silkies together in the same photo then I would also assume that they are mixed. It is extremely important to keep your colors separatedwhen working towards the SOP. Please don’t be fooled by these kind of people. A true breeder that shows their Silkies would never list their eggs as “show quality”. Show potential and breeder potential would be the appropriate wording. The chicks from my eggs have show potential and potential to be breeder quality. I like to keep my prices reasonableso that it is in more peoples’ price range.
