Sanyo -150C Commercial 231L Cryogenic Ultra Low Freezer MDF-C2156VAN – TESTED – WORKING Sanyo MDF-C2156VAN is now sold under the PHcbi brand. This came out of a Canadian bio-laboratory where it was used for cryogenic freezing of samples in the removable stainless compartments seen in the pics. This freezer had a huge buy price when new. This unit appear to have been manufactured in 2010. This unit uses 220V power at 1700W. We powered this unit up using a 110V to 220V transformer one of which can be purchased for $100-$200 online. This unit can be used with a nitrogen back up tank and the connector hose for these is included. This Sanyo freezer works and shows well. This Sanyo freezer went from the 16c to -150c in approximately 24 hours (We were not watching the unit throughout the night and was set at -125 to begin with and may have reached the optimum -150 in shorter time than we show if we had originally set at -150) We do not have the keys for this unit, but everything is opened. This unit is in very nice condition cosmetically but does have a dent on the left corner of the front side Also 3 of the fins on the on the left side have been pushed in a little and should be able to be pushed back into place but may need some tape on the inside edge to hold them to inner wall. The serial number of this unit is 10010004.There is a message that comes up to replace fan motor and this is a preventative message suggesting changing the fan motor after so many hours of operation. We are unsure of the total hours this unit has been used but something that may for a long time or worth changing before fulltime use?
