Haunted Estate 13″ Vintage Bradley Import Doll – Maddie – Positive, loving, trickster . She does show signs of age, yellowing of her dress and dings on her face. We purchased this doll at a flea market in the Poconos about 1 1/2 yrs ago. Have been there a few times and recognized a previous seller we had bought from that visits estate sales for items. When we went to his area noticed a few dolls he said he had recently bought in Connecticut. The woman, a collector for years had over 100, he had picked and chose several but he said when he went to pick this one up, he felt like an electrical charge went through him. A jolt in his words and he knew she was something of a force. I looked at a few dolls but when I picked Maddie up her energy hit me hard. I felt love but also someone who would be a handful when she wanted. Anxiousness but peace all at the same time. Her presence was strong on the ride home. The air was thick in the car and when we got home we let her sit overnight to adjust. Being among her was an uncomfortable yet calm feeling. I felt anxiety, fear and yet someone who loved to be among people. We didnt hear much the first night but when we came down, upon leaving both our sons and my husbands keys had been moved from the dining room table , looking around they found my sons in the kitchen and my husbands on an end table in the living room. Places none of us have ever set our keys. We knew she must have been playing overnight and as I went to turn my coffee on, preset the night before, noticed that somehow it was turned on during the night, brewed and was turned off already as they do after two hours for safety. As we turned our equipment on the next evening, our k2 kept flashing yellow and orange and the mel meter rose to 1.5 . As we turned our spirit box we heard a female voice in what sounded like an anxious tone say ” Whats up having fun “. We asked if she was a female and did she mean she was having fun with us. The same tone came through and answered ” know I am “. Our Scare Bear – like a K2 only it has to be touched, started to light up and the rrem pod started to flash every color. As we tried to ask again if it was male or female the same tone for the last time came through and said ” Miss Maddie “. We asked if she had just told us her name and our rem pod started flashing again. We took it as her answer of yes. We tried letting her know that she was welcome among us and if maybe she could just not move our belongings and as we finished telling her, through the night vision screen we saw a large white pulsating orb float upwards , pulse a few times and disappear. When we reviewed our EVP’s later we heard a few answers not heard in person. When we asked if she was good or evil, her response had been ” Loving girl”, when we asked if she had been married heard her response of ” Yeah loved him “. She is definitely a loving, light hearted woman who does love to be among people and sometimes does like to play around by moving things. after asking her not to, she doesnt turn my coffee on, she understands I like it to be hot in the morning and has cooperated. Please note, as some have questioned a spirit not interacting with them in items they have purchased from other sellers, spirits have their own personalities, sometimes it does take them a day or two or even longer to adjust to their new surroundings. They dont do parlor tricks and if they choose to hold off on interacting, it is their right to do so. They Do Not perform on command. They should be treated with the respect they deserve and patience because in some cases it was not their choice or preference to stay among us. I do start my bidding at just above the cost of what I paid for my items, as to cover the costs of selling. I dont believe in hiking them up, the bidding is your decision and rehoming the items is my goal.If for some reason payment cant be made within the first 3 days, please contact me to let me know, otherwise I assume you have changed your mind and I will relist the item Our family has been doing paranormal investigations for 16 years.
